The Infineon TLE4973-RE35S5-S0010 works at 5V and provides an analog output proportional to the magnetic field measured as well as over current detection output. Digital control and diagnostic interface provides temperature readout, safety status readout, read/write programming access to internal EEPROM, control of diagnosis mode. Infineon’s hall technology enables accurate and highly linear measurement. The measurement range up to ±34 mT allows to sense currents up to 2kA without the negative effects like hysteresis and saturation.

The Infineon XENSIV TLE4971-A025N5-E0001 is our brand new automotive current sensor, pre-programmed to the 25A measurement range. It offers high precision current measurement in applications with lower currents. This improved design of a coreless magnetic current sensor solution is usable for AC and DC measurements. It consists of an analog interface and two fast over-current detection outputs.Infineon's well-established and robust Hall technology enables accurate and highly linear measurement of currents with a full measurement range up to ±25A full scale range. All negative effects (saturation, hysteresis) commonly known from sensors using flux concentration techniques are avoided.The digitally assisted analog concept of TLE4971 offers superior stability over temperature and lifetime thanks to the proprietary digital stress and temperature compensation. The Infineon TLE4972 –AE35S5 is a high precision current sensor based on Hall technology. Due to its differential measurement principle it is robust against stray fields and suited for current measurements in EMC prone environments, e.g. in-phase current sensing in a motor application. The integrated Infineon proprietary, stress and temperature compensation together with the digitally assisted measurement concept, provide a very high stability over temperature and lifetime.The well-established and robust Hall technology enables accurate and highly linear measurement of magnetic fields up to 31mT. All negative effects (saturation, hysteresis) commonly known from sensors using flux concentration techniques are avoided. The small VSON-6 package enables sensor implementation which causes very low power losses.Our current sensor comes with two dedicated overcurrent pins for fast overcurrent detection for system protection. To support usage in safety critical applications like traction inverters of battery main switches the sensor is developed in accordance ISO 26262 as Safety Element out of Context fulfilling technical safety requirements up to ASIL B.

The core-less design avoids negative effects (saturation, hysteresis) commonly known from sensors using iron cores for flux concentration.Our TLE4972 current sensor is qualified according AEC Q100 and ISO 26262 Safety Element out of Context for safety requirements up to ASIL B to support safety critical applications like traction inverter and battery main switch. The sensor is packaged in a PG-TDSO-16 which is suitable for use in 48V as well has high voltage applications due to its external current rail concept. Different implementations allow to optimize power losses as well as frequency response.
