Compared to the existing TLE92464ED, the TLE92464EDHP offers higher accuracy performances, in particular:<±3 mA up to 1200 mA initially<±0.8% up to 1200 mA including agingTarget currents can be programmed from 0 to 1500mA with a resolution of 15 bits. The TLE92464EDHP supports dither currents up to 1800mA. The dither generator superimposes a triangular or trapezoidal waveform with programmable amplitude and frequency on the programmed current setpoint. The device includes the drive transistors and the current sensing resistors to minimize the number of external components. TLE92464EDHP is ISO 26262 compliant and achieves safety level ASIL

The TLE92466ED supports dither currents up to 1800mA. Each channel can be configured to function either in direct PWM mode or in constant current mode by setting the appropriate CM bit in SPI message #1.

The IC has embedded protection, diagnosis and configurable functions. Channels 1-3 are high-side channels with integrated charge pump and can be programmed individually to do autonomous peak and hold current regulation with PWM. Channel 4-6 (also with integrated charge pump) can be configured to work as high-side switch or low-side switch. This IC can be used to drive standard automotive loads in high-side or low-side applications with switching frequencies up to 10 kHz. In addition the TLE6288R can be used to drive autonomously up to 3 inductive peak & hold (valves, coils) loads with programmable peak and hold current values.

Two gate drive outputs are included for controlling a reverse polarity protected high-side switch typically used to switch off power to the control module while the module is in a sleep state. Two high-side gate drive channels are also included for controlling two “safety” switches. These switches are typically used to provide power to the transmission solenoids. The device also provides interfaces for eight two-wire Hall Effect sensors, four of which can be used with position sensors and four which can be used with either position or speed sensors
