Creating and Updating DigiKey myLists |
Parts in the BOM tab may be created as a named list to use enhanced functionality provided by DigiKey myLists. The integration is provided through Ultra Librarian and username and password must be set up before accessing this feature. You will need to be a registered user with Digikey.com to use the myLists feature. You may continue to use the Adding Parts to Cart functionality if you do not have a Digikey account.
Add New List to DigiKey myLists: Selecting the Add New List to DigiKey myLists command opens a pop up for the name of your new list. Enter a unique name of your new list. If you are not already logged in from your default browser to Ultra Librarian, you will be prompted log in. Click the button to link your DigiKey account to Ultra Librarian. After log in and linking accounts, select the Add New List to DigiKey myLists command again.
A green notification shows in the upper left corner for a successful creation of the list. The Add New List to DigiKey myLists button changes to Create New myLists Revision. A button to open a browser page to the DigiKey myLists URL page appears. For newly registered DigiKey users or DigiKey users who may not have completed the registration process, a customer ID error shows.
Select the Open DigiKey myLists button to open a browser page to Digikey.com and review your list of parts.
Select the Create New myLists Revision command to update the list to a new revision on Digikey.com. To create a new list, you must first remove the association of your design a created list by selecting the drop down (Delete List Association) button next to the Create New myLists Revision button. After deleting list association, select the Add New List to DigiKey myLists command button to enter a new list name.
