Design Architect

The instructions that follow explain how to import files you download from Ultra Librarian into Design Architect.

Extract and save your download folder before you begin the import process. The import process is based on the execution of an auto-import script.

To import your new symbol into Mentor Design Architect:

1.Start Design Architect.

2.Browse to your download folder and double-click the GenerateSymbols.sh file. Or, double-click the GenerateSymbols.do file that automatically launches the GenerateSymbols.sh script. This file loads your symbols.

3.Return to Design Architect when the run is complete.

4.Select File > Find Component and locate the symbol in the list that you want to view.

5.Click a component to display the symbol in the preview screen.

Note: You can also open your symbol with the selection of the File > Open > Symbol menu items.
